Special ApplicationsOur Special Applications group concentrates on the many varied and challenging novel automation applications that come to ASTECH. This group should really be called “never been attempted” or “never been done before” applications as this is often the remit they work too. Within this group is our Nuclear Automation department with expert skills in Prince 2 Project Management, De-Commissioning, Automated Waste Management, Radiation Hardened Manipulators and Robotic Inspection Systems to name but a few. ASTECH have a dedicated Nuclear Automation Area for extensive Pre deployment automation trials before any final on site commissioning takes place.
