ASTECH have developed a range of semi automated analyst workstations for performing various stages of Emitted Dose / Content Uniformity testing, Cascade Impaction and Next Generation Impaction (NGI).

ASTECH’s Mini Dose workstations are uniquely tailored to the specific device handling and waste firing requirements of each customer’s device, including pMDI, DPI, Nasal Spray and Nebulisers.

• The use of automation components and techniques from our fully automated systems. This enables our customers to seamlessly migrate from our workstation technology to our fully automated solutions without re-registration of methods
• Elimination of human variability in results, facilitating repeatable, reliable data
• Elimination of health and safety issues associated with repetitive strain injury

Our Mini Dose workstations are also an extremely desirable option when testing is split over a number of sites. Here, there may not be a business justification for fully automated solutions due to limited throughput at each site. However the benefits of consistent data from identical workstations in each location speak for themselves.
