1 Series
Xelair™I systems are designed as analyst workstations and require the analyst to manually load a single
device into the system. The device is automatically waste fired until the desired dose is reached and
presented to Astech’s unique Sample Recovery Chamber for automated dose collection. Once dosed, the
analyst removes the Sample Recovery Chamber for routine manual analysis. Alternatively the analyst can
upgrade the system to the Xelair™ 3 which automatically processes the Sample Recovery Chamber
contents in preparation for analysis.
3 Series
Our Xelair™3 systems are also designed as workstations and require the analyst to manually load a single
device into the system. The device is automatically waste fired ready for dose fire. After successful dose
collection into our Sample Recovery Chamber the contents are recovered automatically via our low solvent
volume dissolution technique, ready for analysis by test instruments such as HPLC.
5 Series
Xelair™5 is our premium technology that offers a fully automated solution for Dose Content Uniformity by
Emitted Dose. The Xelair™5 includes our Device Handling and Storage (DHS) module which offers fully
automated storage, handling and transfer of your devices so that the system can operate unattended for up to 24 hours per day.
